Term of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the PREATERITUM section of the web platform. By using this section, you agree to these terms and to the legally binding relationship established between you, as the User, and the Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation (hereinafter the Institute) and the Paraćin Homeland Museum (hereinafter the Museum), who are the creatorsand owners of this content. By accepting these Terms of Use, you give your unconditional and irrevocable consent to comply with them while using the content.

Certain terms used in these Terms of Use have the following meanings:

  • “Service” refers to making content available on the website for personal and non-commercial purposes;
  • “User” means any individual or legal entity, domestic or foreign, who uses the content, regardless of the type of device used to access it, the time of access, the duration of use, or the physical or electronic address from which the website is accessed;
  • “Content” includes text, scripts, graphics, images, sounds, videos, audiovisual combinations, interactive functions, and other materials published on the platform, regardless of the form in which they are presented.

All content published in the PREATERITUM and VITRUM sections (categories: 1908–1943; 1947–2013; Cristal Cabinet) is the exclusive property of the Institute and the Museum, depending on the type of content, or of third parties who have granted content to the Institute and the Museum. Such content may be used only for personal and non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, copying, public display, or distribution of the content on other platforms or websites, or of any part of the website content, is prohibited without prior written permission or consent from the Institute and/or the Museum, depending on the type of content, or from the third parties who provided the content for these purposes.

Where full attribution is not provided for content from third parties or archival materials, the Institute and the Museum have acted in good faith and in accordance with the principles of “fair use.” The Institute and the Museum disclaim any liability for possible legal consequences arising from this.

Use of the content without prior permission is permitted for the purpose of informing the public about Paraćin glass, the industrial heritage of glassmaking, and the Creative Glass Serbia initiative, as well as for scientific and research purposes, in accordance with Articles 43, 44, 46, 47, 47a, 48, and 49 (right of quotation) of the Copyright and Related Rights Law (“Official Gazette of RS,” Nos. 104/2009, 99/2011, 119/2012, 29/2016 – Constitutional Court decision, and 66/2019), provided that the author (if the content is copyrighted) and the source, Creative Glass Serbia, are properly cited.

Use of the content does not grant ownership of any part of the material accessed.

Intellectual property, including all logos, texts, data, photographs, and other digital content, as well as all content available on the website, is the exclusive property of the Institute and/or the Paraćin Homeland Museum, depending on the type of content, or belongs to third parties who have granted the right of use to the Institute and/or the Museum or to the content’s authors.

The section of the platform labeled Futurum and Vitrum (except for the sections 1908–1943, 1947–2013, and Cristal Cabinet), as well as all content stored there, including the titles and content of editions, is intellectual property belonging to the Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation, or rights to use the materials have been transferred to the Institute by third parties. The Institute is responsible for creating, storing, and managing this content.
